Our Story

With the right messaging and strong leadership, a principal can create an excellent school culture. In turn, an excellent culture creates a great school climate. A great school climate is the foundation for all student academic, social, and emotional success. The key dependency is having the principal deliver the right messages, at the right times, to the staff, parents, and students.

The Kopp Family Foundation, the Ave Maria Community Corporation, and the Fund for Stevie's Memory jointly collaborated to create HopeCheck Org LLC to offer K-12 principals a messaging tool that will strengthen their school's culture, climate, and success.

As a public benefits company, we freely license all our intellectual property, including our messaging content, plus all the videos on our sister-site EDU-TV.org. Any school or principal can use the content under our Creative Content License. For those schools and principals who don't have access to large technical teams and dedicated communications staff to deploy and send out the messages, we offer principals a low-cost service that will deliver the content and messages to their opted-in parents and students.

We are based in Ave Maria, FL and have a dedicated staff of 12 people. Our customer support team is led by Michelle Atkins, our technical team is led by Cris Blanco, and our business team is led by Brian Lawe. We'd love to help your school and students!
